The snow and the cold pierce far besides my body,

I have a wet and shivering spirit.

Paris had taught me to become my own spy,

a master of deception in the ways of beauty.

A place so glamorous and so proud

where I once felt like I belonged

but where I wasn’t meant to shine,

it was not part of the plan.
